Version 2 of the FAA SIM-C collaborative ATM modelling and prototyping platform has been delivered to the ISA Software LLC offices in central Washington D.C. today.

The modelling platform provides a fully functional model of a net-centric ATM architecture, and includes components and intelligent modelling agents in support of System-Wide Information Management (SWIM), Cooperative Air Traffic Flow Management (C-ATFM) and Distributed Decision-making from Airline Operations Centre Agents.

Activities sponsored by the FAA under the framework of the SETAII contract continue to evolve the platform and scenarios to evaluate collaborative trajectory-based ATM are currently being developed.
