ATM Analyser
The ATM Analyser is a fully configurable reporting and analysis toolkit that integrates with standard Windows office tools to provide data and graphic reporting facilities. An XML-based tool, it is independent of any particular data format and provides an analysis facility that can be used to prepare intermediate results and final reports from multiple sources. A set of standard reports are provided which are easily extendable and can be customised and reused to meet your specific analysis requirements.
The ATM Analyser can be easily adapted to understand the content and context of additional data sources, giving your analysts the ability to create and customise reports for your own in-house models and tools. It has a highly efficient data processing engine able to crunch megabytes of raw data in a few seconds and condense the results into a manageable form. The ATM Analyser, combining XML-based data knowledge, an easy-to-use user interface and a fast processing engine, provides a very powerful, flexible, and adaptable tool.
Key features available with release 3.0 include:
- Statistical analyses based upon a variety of metrics (sum, mean, median, sliding and instantaneous counts, among others) with tabulations at up to 3 levels of aggregation. Typical analyses produced by RAMS Plus users might include reports such as Average Sector Crossing Time by Center, Sector and Aircraft Category or Hourly Sliding Weighted Taskload by Controller. Outputs include a formatted text report and an Excel™ worksheet containing the results and a chart.
- Listings ( “printouts”) of selected data fields from the raw source data, sorted at up to 3 levels. Listings prepared for human analysts provide an excellent resource for model calibration and validation, while listings produced without column headings are ideal for building more manageable “raw” data files to be used as inputs for other tools or models.
- The user interface provides complete flexibility in selecting desired metric(s), data fields and parameters for aggregating or sorting reports, and specifying raw data filters. Online help and a quick start tutorial are provided.
- Sector Capacity Analysis . This special report uses sliding sector traffic counts and controller workload to estimate sector capacity using a technique and algorithm provided by the Eurocontrol Research Centre. Outputs are presented in a set of Excel™ worksheets and include a summary report, a data sheet, and one or more scatterplots with trendlines per sector.
- Multiple iterations of a scenario are supported. Requested report(s) are produced for each iteration and the combined average of all iterations is calculated.
- A link for running external reporting programs is available. ATM Analyser is a new approach to the problem of results generation and simulation output analysis.
ATM Analyser is a brand new approach to the problems faced by simulation users that adds unlimited flexibility for your analysis needs.
